Maurice Vesselle

The Maison familiale Maurice Vesselle, founded in 1955 in Bouzy, takes its name from its founder Maurice Vesselle who, still today, signs his own name on the labels of his Champagnes.
Today Maurice is supported in the management of the company by his sons Didier and Thierry, who over the years have demonstrated their ability to face the important challenges of the market while remaining tied to the values of the family tradition.

The 7.5 hectares of vineyards, the true heritage of the Domaine Maurice Vesselle, are located in Bouzy, Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims, the chosen soil for Pinot Noir, and are managed with great care and commitment according to the principles of sustainable viticulture. The Domaine is certified High Environmental Value – HVE and is committed to an approach that respects the environment and biodiversity.

In the cellar, the Vesselles choose not to practice malolactic fermentation with the aim of preserving the personality of their wines, enhancing their typical features and territorial identity. The Maurice Vesselle winery is also known for its large collection of vintages from 1976 to 2007.
Maurice Vesselle Champagnes are wines of other times, Champagnes with a traditional flavor, with a deep connection to the terroir, testimony to the dedication to the land.
