The Domaine Thévenet-Delouvin is located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, in Passy-Grigny. Isabelle and Xavier Thévenet, happy to continue the family tradition, have been cultivating the three classic grapes authorised in the Champagne region with passion and rigour: Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Isabelle and Xavier manage to get the best from their vineyards planted on the two slopes of the Vallée de la Marne, near the villages of Passy-Grigny, Cerseuil and Grauves.
This diversity of plots is the basis of the great richness of the Thévenet-Delouvin assemblages, where Meunier predominates (70%) over Chardonnay (16%) and Pinot Noir (14%). Deeply motivated by respect for the environment and the vineyard, the principles of sustainable viticulture have long been applied in the Domaine Thévenet-Delouvin, with a reasoned fertilisation strategy, cultivation practices limiting the impact of pests and diversifying working strategies for land (reduction in the use of herbicides, permanent grassing with grass weed...). Since 2016 the Domaine has been awardet two important Certificates: High Environmental Value (HEV) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne.
The Champagne range by Thévenet-Delouvin is characterised by the great precision of its blends, the rigour of its vinification and a great creativity, symbolised by the "Insolite" collection. From the vinification in plots to the harvest, from pressing to fermentation, from "remuage" to "degorgément", from bottling to shipping, every step is carried out with precision to make authentic Champagnes that reflect the expression of their terroir.
Isabelle and Xavier blend the different plots, the vintage wines (some of which are vinified in oak barrels), the different grape varieties and the "vin de réserve" to create cuvées that are an expression of the land and above all wines with personality. The final result is a Champagne that expresses and reveals the inimitable style of the Domaine Thévenet-Delouvin. Their Artisans-Vignerons values are now fully shared by their daughters to pursue their unique, passionate and committed viticulture.
