The history of Domaine R.Faivre dates back to 1953, when its founder Robert Faivre created the company in Belval-sous-Châtillon, adhering to the cooperative system right from the start. It was only with his nephew David Faivre, the third generation of the family, that the company embarked on a transformation path, abandoning collective production to focus on in-house production. The turning point occurred in 2000, when sustainable agricultural practices began to be adopted, and was effective in 2008 with the creation of the pressing center within the company.
