J.L. Vergnon

J.L. Vergnon was founded by Jean-Louis Vergnon in 1950 in Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger, a village classified as Grand Cru in the renowed Côte des Blancs, homeland of the oldest and most mineral Chardonnay. Nowadays the company owns around 7 hectares, 100% Chardonnay, classified as Grand Cru.

The Vergnon family can count on the enologist Christophe Costante in charge of determining the style of Cuvée Blanc de Blancs with low dosages, hand-made degorgement and strong attention to grape ripeness. The annual production is around 50,000 bottles.
