Solemme

The Domaine Solemme is located in Villers-aux-Nœuds, a few kilometres south of Reims. Since 1998, Olivier Langlais, belonging to the sixth generation of vigneron, has been managing the 6 hectares of vineyards out of 5 terroirs classified as Premier Cru in the Montagne de Reims area and one in Vallée de l'Ardre. The geologically varied soils - chalky, limestone clay, silty, sandy - and the exposures dominated by the plain and average slopes allow the three main vines - Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir - to express themselves fully.

Olivier is very sensitive to the search for a wine as natural as possible, which is why he always tries to modify his techniques in order to improve them and thus promote harmony between the vineyard and its natural place. In 2010, on a part of the property, he developed the organic culture with biodynamic method and in 2013 Olivier finally obtained the Bio certification for his Chardonnay.
