Sadi Malot

Located in Villers-Marmery, Premier Cru municipality of the Montagne de Reims, Domaine Sadi Malot has ancient origins dating back to 1883. Today the company is managed by Franck Malot with his daughter Cindy, fifth generation of family winegrowers, who with her husband Florian has brought some significant innovations within the company, including transforming the names and labels of the Cuvées. The 11-hectare vineyard area extends to Villers-Marmery, Verzy and Verzenay and is made up of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, or an enclave of white grapes, in an area predominantly Pinot Noir. 

Since 2004 the management of the vineyard has taken place according to the principles of organic agriculture and since 2014 the Domaine has obtained the HVE - Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. Currently the company is in bio and biodynamic conversion, in fact between 2017 and 2021 the process to obtain the AB certification was started and from the 2022 wine campaign the management follows the principles of biodynamic viticulture. 

The production is in a traditional and classic style: Sadi Malot Champagnes are distinguished by their minerality, finesse, freshness and tension, in the continuous search for concreteness and drinkability. The cellar also has a réserve perpétuelle dating back to 1982.
