Leclaire-Thiefaine

Since 1878 Leclaire family has represented a very important wine tradition in Avize. In 1991 Reynald Leclaire - the fifth generation - married Virginie and this is why the Domaine proudly bears their two names: Champagne Leclaire-Thiefaine. A family history, today assisted by 4 young children, where the passion for the land meets the desire to offer wines of the highest quality. 

A subtle blend of tradition and modernity, Domaine Leclaire-Thiefaine invites you to discover a meticulously selected terroir in the 3 hectares of property in the renowned Côte des Blancs, more precisely in the Grand and Premier Crus villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger, Grauves and Chatillon-sur-Marne. All winemaking takes place in the traditional way, with indigenous yeasts in fermentation and long refinements sur lattes. Dosage and liqueur in minimum quantities to preserve the essence of this great, pure and elegant terroir.
