The first Cuvées made in Ecueil - a Premier Cru classified village located on the western slopes of the Montagne de Reims - under the name of Lacourte and Godbillon date back to 1947 when, at the end of the Great War, Geraldine's great-grandparents started bottling and selling the first bottles to a very first clientele who filled the trunks of their cars. This inheritance was collected and handed down from 1968 onwards by Jean-Guy Lacourte and Claudine Godbillon and finally in 2006 by Geraldine who, together with her husband Richard, decided to abandon their professional activities and return to manage this beautiful reality.
