On the hills of Charly-sur-Marne and Saulchery, within the area of Vallée de la Marne, the tiny 1.07 hectare vineyard of Domaine Delalot gently lies. Éliane Delalot is a slender lady of yesteryear who, in the eighth generation of a family of vignerons, has always worked her own vineyard without any mechanical tools or harmful products. This approach naturally led in 2010 to the conversion of the winery to organic farming, which is now followed by Éliane's son, Jérôme Lefevre, professor of contemporary art history, who stopped his teaching in Paris to devote himself to the production of Champagne.
