Haute Couture 2021
The Champagne Haute Couture by Frédéric Savart originates from the Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, in the Côte des Blancs, and represents a refined interpretation of Chardonnay, combining tension, elegance, and precision. This cuvée captures the essence of two iconic terroirs, offering a natural balance between freshness and minerality, in line with the producer’s rigorous and contemporary style.
This edition, Vintage 2021, develops through vinification and fermentation in 350-liter oak barrels, with a maturation of around 10 months without malolactic fermentation, a choice that preserves vibrancy and aromatic clarity, while after tirage the wine undergoes lees ageing for at least 42 months, building depth and complexity in a harmonious way. The final dosage of 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, enhances a clean and crystalline profile.
On the palate, Haute Couture 2021 stands out for its elegant and layered profile, with notes of citrus, white flowers, and a pronounced mineral character. The structure is refined and vibrant, supported by precise freshness that leads to a long, harmonious, and persistent finish. Total production amounts to 2,863 bottles.
