The Champagne Cuvée 1 Apolline by Leclaire-Thiéfaine is a refined and luminous expression of the prestigious terroir of Avize, a renowned Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes sourced from distinct lieux-dits owned by the Domaine, this cuvée translates with sincerity the purity and finesse typical of the great Blanc de Blancs, conveying all the chalky elegance and deep mineral vocation of a truly unique territory.

This edition, Vintage 2021, reflects a precise and considered stylistic choice in which vinification takes place 65% in stainless steel vats and the remaining 35% in fût de chêne, in full respect of the raw material. After the tirage the wine ages on the lees for almost three years, at the end of which the final dosage, deliberately minimal and below 3 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, enhances its extraordinary aromatic purity and clear varietal expression.

On the palate, the Cuvée 1 Apolline 2021 reveals itself as refined and luminous, opening with delicate floral notes, subtle hints of citrus and white fruit and an elegant chalky minerality that defines its profile with great clarity, finesse and depth. It shows itself delicate and elegant, sustained by a very fine, persistent perlage and a vibrant saline freshness that leads into a long, luminous, satisfying and thoroughly harmonious finish. The overall production is 7,531 bottles.
