Champagne Frédéric Savart
Lieu-Dit "Les Noues" 2022
The Champagne Les Noues by Frédéric Savart is a Blanc de Noirs that gives voice to Pinot Noir alone, born from a single parcel located near Écueil, a Premier Cru village of the Petite Montagne and a land particularly suited to this variety. Here the vines take root in soils composed mainly of limestone and silt, able to imprint on the wine a sharp mineral weave together with freshness and structure, for an incisive expression of the terroir suspended between energy and depth.
This edition, Vintage 2022, arises from an artisanal, non-interventionist philosophy, with spontaneous fermentations and vinification in fût de chêne, where the wine matures before tirage while preserving its authenticity and integrity. After tirage comes an ageing on the lees of at least 36 months, which enriches the wine with complexity and elegance without diminishing its tension, while the final dosage of 1.5 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, defines its balance.
On tasting, Les Noues 2022 reveals itself with an intense, deep and finely chiselled profile, where small red fruits, ripe citrus and delicate spicy and balsamic nuances intertwine with a sharp mineral breath of rare clarity and finesse. On the palate it shows a taut, energetic character, sustained by a solid structure and a vibrant freshness that carry a long, savoury and persistent finish, where precision and elegance find a full and gratifying harmony. Production in a limited run of 3,012 bottles.
