The Champagne Blanc de Blancs “Écueil - Trépail” by Frédéric Savart is a refined cuvée that highlights the full expressiveness of pure Chardonnay, sourced from parcels located in the two Premier Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims. Here, chalky and clay-limestone soils impart tension, freshness, and elegant minerality to the wine.
Vinification reflects Savart’s authentic and precise style, aimed at preserving the integrity of the fruit and the purity of the terroir. After tirage, the wine ages on its lees for at least 30 months before disgorgement. The final dosage, kept to 1.6 g/l – Extra Brut, enhances verticality and transparency.
On the palate, the Blanc de Blancs “Écueil - Trépail” shines in the glass with bright straw-yellow reflections. The nose offers crisp aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, and white flowers, intertwined with delicate mineral notes. The palate is tense and vibrant, with a fine texture and a long, lifted, and clean finish that combines freshness with crystalline elegance. Limited production of 13,532 bottles.
