Le Millésime 2016
The Champagne Le Millésime by Dehours precisely interprets the character of the Vallée de la Marne through a selection of grapes from the family vineyards. This cuvée comes from two emblematic lieux-dits, Grèves and Maisoncelle, dedicated to Pinot Noir, together with Meunier vines grown in the village of Cerseuil. The result is a vintage Champagne with a strong identity, capable of combining depth, energy and an authentic expression of the harvest.
This edition, Millésime 2016, comes from a harvest that began on September 21 and from an assemblage composed of 65% Pinot Noir grapes and 35% Meunier, with the former defining structure, drive and verticality, while the latter brings roundness, fruity expression and greater harmony on the palate. The final dosage of 1.1 g/l, in Brut style, preserves a very dry and precise profile, close in sensitivity to Extra Brut, enhancing purity, tension and territorial depth.
In tasting, Le Millésime 2016 reveals a balanced and incisive profile, where energy, finesse and aromatic maturity move with great naturalness. On the palate it shows structure, well-integrated freshness and a savoury texture that carries a long and refined progression, supported by a clean, vertical and deeply distinctive finish. The total production is 3,095 bottles.
