La Côte - Réserve Perpétuelle
The Champagne La Côte - Réserve Perpétuelle by Dehours is born from the blend of Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from four distinct lieux-dits: La Côte en Bosse, Le Ravail, Les Grèves and Maisoncelle, parcels located in the village of Maureil-le-Port and characterized by a strong territorial identity.
This edition, based on the 2021 harvest, involves vinification and fermentation in fût de chêne, combined with the réserve perpétuelle started in 2013, an element that brings depth, stylistic continuity and aromatic complexity. The final dosage of less than 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, refines the cuvée with precision and restraint, preserving the freshness of the profile.
In tasting, “La Côte” reveals itself as elegant, precise and multifaceted. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe citrus, crisp pear, yellow apple, hints of hazelnut, subtle spices and a touch of delicate pastry derived from well-integrated oak. On the palate it is tense and harmonious, with vibrant material supported by a marked mineral structure that brings verticality and depth. The persistence is long, saline and bright, with fruity echoes and a precise, dry and highly expressive finish. Production is limited to only 2,936 bottles.
