The Champagne Blanc de Noirs by Rousseaux-Batteux is made exclusively from Pinot Noir, sourced from vineyards located in the prestigious Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy, and Louvois, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The vineyard management follows the principles of sustainable viticulture, avoiding herbicides, insecticides, and synthetic chemicals in favor of an approach that respects the soil and preserves the vineyard heritage, with the aim of capturing the most authentic identity of each terroir in the glass.

This Magnum edition is the result of an equal blend of the 2017 and 2018 harvests, two complementary vintages that fostered a fine balance between tension and ripeness. The wine is largely vinified in fût de chêne, a choice that brings depth and aromatic complexity without weighing down the structure. It then matures for 42 months on the lees, followed by a restrained dosage of 5.5 g/l, in line with the Extra Brut style.

On the palate, this Blanc de Noirs reveals refined intensity and structural elegance. The nose is expansive, with notes of ripe red fruits, candied citrus, and sweet spices, while the mouthfeel develops with energy and precision, supported by pronounced minerality and a very fine perlage. A limited edition of just 98 magnums, this cuvée is an exclusive and sophisticated expression of a deeply artisanal and terroir-driven vision.
