"Les Petites Vignes" Pinot Noir

The Champagne "Les Petites Vignes" by Aurore Casanova is a Blanc de Noirs of remarkable intensity, born from old vines planted in 1968 in the Lieu-dit of the same name, within the Grand Cru of Puisieulx, in the Grande Montagne Nord. Here the Pinot Noir is grown according to the principles of biodynamic farming, without any use of chemical herbicides or insecticides, in a setting that enhances the vitality of the soil and the precision of the terroir.

This edition, obtained from the 2023 harvest with a portion of réserve perpétuelle, is vinified with spontaneous fermentation activated by indigenous yeasts and a maturation of 11 months in fût de chêne. Bottling takes place without filtration or stabilisation, followed by around 24 months of ageing on the lees, for an expressive depth that best reflects the natural, artisanal approach of the vigneronne. The final dosage is extremely low, within the parameters of Extra Brut, a choice that heightens the tension and transparency of the wine.

On tasting, "Les Petites Vignes" captivates with its pure character and multifaceted sensory profile. On the nose and palate, notes of small red fruits stand out, alongside nuances of subtle spices, dried herbal tea, and a vivid chalky trace, in a whole that brings together energy, finesse, and depth. An authentic expression, able to embody with rare precision the spirit of terroir Pinot Noir. Produced in a limited edition, each bottle individually numbered, in 5,775 units.
