Coteaux Champenois Doyard
Vertus Blanc 2020
The Côteaux Champenois Vertus Blanc by Doyard is a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay, harvested in 2020 from the Lieu-Dit “Vieux Fombrés”, planted in 1956 near Vertus, a Premier Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. A historic terroir that gives identity and authenticity to this rare label.
Vinification involves fermentation and ageing for around 18 months in oak barrels, a process that enhances structure and depth without overshadowing varietal purity. Production is extremely limited, with only 1,345 bottles and 35 magnums, a true expression of the artisanal spirit of the Doyard family.
On the palate, Côteaux Champenois Vertus Blanc is elegant and luminous, with notes of white fruit, vibrant freshness and absolute finesse, faithfully conveying the authentic voice of its terroir.
