The Champagne Les Survivants by Jules Brochet is conceived as a manifesto cuvée of the artisanal project led by Pierric Brochet in Taissy, in the Montagne de Reims, designed to tell the story of a vintage in its entirety, without stylistic mediation. The name evokes an idea of resilience and fidelity to origin: few bottles, carefully measured production, and a vision that places terroir, vintage, expressive transparency, and minimal intervention at its core, in continuity with the identity-driven approach of the Domaine launched in 2019.

This edition, with 2021 as the base vintage, takes shape from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from parcels in the Montagne de Reims, vinified according to artisanal practices. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the absence of fining and filtration, and a natural winemaking approach define an essential path. After bottling, the wine ages for a minimum of 24 months on the lees, with a final dosage in Extra Brut style, to preserve precision and a direct reading of the vintage.

In tasting, Les Survivants is taut and vibrant, with aromas of citrus, white-fleshed fruit, and floral notes, supported by a clear mineral backbone. On the palate, the structure is linear, driven by well-integrated acidity that leads into a saline, dry progression; the finish is coherent and measured, with an overall balance that favors finesse and clarity over opulence.

Produced in a limited, numbered run of just 1,501 bottles.
