The Champagne L’Année by Rémi Georgeton expresses with balance the Premier Cru of Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims, highlighting a precise reading of the terroir through a style that is both essential and deeply expressive. The identity of the cuvée is built on harmony between its components, enhancing both finesse and structure.
This edition, Vintage 2020, is based on an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and follows a winemaking approach focused on purity of fruit and aromatic definition. After tirage, the wine rests on its lees for at least 48 months, a step that broadens complexity and depth without weighing down the profile. The dosage of 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports the overall balance, preserving tension and consistency.
On the palate, L’Année 2020 shows a fine and layered profile, with notes of citrus, white fruit and subtle mineral nuances. The texture is balanced and dynamic, supported by well-defined freshness and an elegant mousse, while the finish extends with saline and persistent sensations, offering a clear expression of both the vintage and the producer’s style.
