The Champagne Éole 2019 by Jules Brochet is conceived as a measured, identity-driven expression of the Montagne de Reims, sourced from the villages of Taissy and Mailly, where Pierric Brochet pursues an artisanal vision focused on expressive transparency and respect for the terroir. The Domaine project, launched in 2019, is rooted in a viticulture attentive to soil vitality and in the idea of Champagne as a wine of origin, capable of faithfully reflecting the vintage and its pedoclimatic context without corrective interventions.

This edition, Vintage 2019, is crafted from an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced from selected parcels in the Montagne de Reims. Vinification is carried out through spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without fining or filtration, following a minimal-intervention approach. After bottling, the wine ages for approximately 60 months on the lees, a prolonged maturation that builds depth and precision. The absence of final dosage, in Brut Nature style, underscores an essential and direct interpretation of the wine.

On tasting, Éole 2019 reveals a taut, vertical profile, with notes of citrus, white flowers, and a pronounced mineral imprint. On the palate, the balance between the structure of Pinot Noir and the freshness of Chardonnay creates a precise texture, supported by vibrant acidity. The finish is long and saline, with a dry, coherent close that conveys a sense of clarity and expressive rigor, fully aligned with the producer’s style.
