Champagne Doyard
Blanc de Blancs Millésime 2013
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Millésime 2013 by Doyard is born from a meticulous selection of Chardonnaygrapes, harvested exclusively in the Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. A cuvée produced only in the most prestigious vintages, it represents the family’s savoir-faire and the will to express the purest essence of this terroir.
The rigorous vinification and the long ageing in the cellar bring structure, depth and balance, while preserving the freshness and aromatic clarity of the Chardonnay. Production is extremely limited, with around 4,000 bottles, and the restrained dosage of 2 g/l defines an Extra Brut style of remarkable precision.
On the palate, Blanc de Blancs Millésime 2013 reveals an elegant and luminous profile, with notes of ripe citrus, white flowers, fresh almond and a marked mineral character. The taste shows finesse and tension, with a vibrant persistence that reflects the nobility of its Grand Cru origins.
