Champagne Pertois-Moriset
Spécial Club 2017
The Champagne Spécial Club 2017 by Pertois-Moriset represents the family’s “special” Blanc de Blancs, made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in the prestigious Grand Cru terroir of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The grapes come from four emblematic lieux-dits: Les Jutées, Les Hauts d’Aillerands, Les Jeamprins and Les Hautes Mottes, each contributing with its own finesse and character.
Vinification takes place for 40% in stainless steel, preserving freshness and aromatic precision, and for 60% in fût de chêne, adding structure and complexity. This is followed by a long maturation of over 72 months on the lees, which brings harmony and depth, and a minimal dosage of 2 g/l, defining a highly pure and elegant Extra Brut style.
On the palate, the Spécial Club 2017 displays a bright golden hue with a fine and persistent effervescence. The bouquet offers layered notes of citrus, white peach, toasted almond and brioche, evolving towards mineral and saline nuances. The palate is taut, vibrant and perfectly balanced, with a long and refined finish that precisely reflects the soul of the Grand Cru terroir.
