Terre de Meunier
The Champagne Terre de Meunier by Dehours represents an authentic and vibrant expression of Meunier, obtained from grapes selected in two parcels located on distinct slopes: Le Pâtis de Cerseuil, south-facing and characterized by greater maturity and structure, and Les Vignes dans le Bois, north-facing, which brings freshness, tension and verticality.
This edition, 2022 harvest, involves vinification and maturation in stainless steel tanks, a choice that enhances aromatic precision and transparency. After tirage, the wine ages for at least 24 months on the lees, while the final dosage of 1.1 g/l, in Extra Brut style, refines the cuvée with essentiality, in line with the philosophy of the Domaine.
In tasting, Terre de Meunier appears bright, direct and clean. On the nose, notes of fresh pear, green apple, crisp citrus, white flowers and hints of fine herbs emerge. On the palate it is brisk and linear, driven by a clear mineral tension that gives momentum and verticality. The structure is precise, the substance agile yet persistent, with a dry, saline finish enhanced by citrus echoes that amplify freshness and clarity.
