The Champagne Harmonie 2017 by Franck Pascal is an exceptional Blanc de Noirs, embodying the art of biodynamic viticulture and a profound respect for nature - fundamental principles for this vigneron. It is a Millésime produced exclusively from grapes harvested in the 2017 vintage, a year characterised by favourable climatic conditions that resulted in grapes of the highest quality.
This Champagne is the result of a blend of only Meunier grapes from old vineyards located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne. Vinification takes place through spontaneous fermentation, using indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in oak barrels, which gives the wine complexity and depth. Franck Pascal's natural approach is also reflected in the very low or absent dosage (making the wine an Extra Brut or a Brut Nature), thus enhancing the wine's purity and freshness.
On the nose, this Champagne offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe fruit, citrus fruits, white flowers, and more evolved hints of dried fruit, spices and mineral nuances. On the palate, Harmonie 2017 stands out for its elegant structure, lively acidity and creamy texture, with a long, harmonious finish that perfectly reflects its name. It is a splendid representation of a wine experience of great finesse, ideal for lovers of natural and biodynamic Champagnes.
