Rosé Joyau de France 2007
The Champagne Joyau Rosé 2007 by Boizel is born from a meticulous selection of grapes sourced from the most prestigious Grands and Premiers Crus: 62% Pinot Noir from Mailly, Vertus, and Verzenay, and 38% Chardonnayfrom Avize and Chouilly. A special role is played by the vin rouge of Pinot Noir from the illustrious vineyard of Les Riceys, which lends identity, color, and depth to the cuvée.
For the vinification, the House uses only first-press juice, handled with the utmost precision to preserve the purity of the fruit. After the tirage, the wine matures for over 14 years on the lees, gaining complexity and harmony. The final dosage, set at 4 g/l (Brut), enhances the natural finesse of the vintage and emphasizes its aromatic complexity, while preserving the pure and refined style of the Maison.
On tasting, Joyau Rosé 2007 reveals a subtle balance between delicacy and intensity. The robe is a bright pink with diamond-like glints, enriched by yellow and copper reflections, and animated by a fine, lively effervescence. The nose displays aromas of rose petals, ripe fruits such as peach, mirabelle plum, and fig, enhanced by notes of almond and dried fruit. On the palate it is fresh and enveloping, with accents of spices (cinnamon, pink pepper), candied citrus, and delicate smoky touches. The structure is elegant, with slightly tannic and chalky nuances, leading to a long, subtle finish, supported by precise, vibrant freshness.
