The Champagne Les Vignes Goisses 2020 by Adrien Renoir is a Blanc de Meunier of rare refinement, made exclusively from Meunier sourced from the historic parcel Les Vignes Goisses, a Lieu-dit planted in 1962 near the Grand Cru village of Verzy, in the Montagne de Reims. This terroir, characterized by clay–limestone soils, imparts to the wine finesse, expressive purity, and mineral depth, perfectly embodying the essential, precise, and transparent style of Adrien Renoir.

The 2020 vintage, a balanced and generous year, was vinified in oak barrels with spontaneous fermentations, without fining or filtration, in full respect of the grape’s identity and its terroir. After tirage, the wine aged for at least 36 months on the lees, gaining complexity and harmony. The dosage below 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves the aromatic purity and highlights the natural balance of the Meunier, enhancing both its tension and softness.

In tasting, Les Vignes Goisses 2020 displays a brilliant golden hue with rosé reflections and a fine, persistent effervescence, a sign of meticulous artisanal craftsmanship. The nose opens with notes of ripe yellow fruits — peach, pear, and apricot — enriched by floral nuances and toasted hints of great elegance. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with a silky texture and a perfect balance between fruit, freshness, and minerality. The finish is long, harmonious, and persistent, confirming the extraordinary finesse and personality of this cuvée.

Produced in a limited edition of only 994 bottles, this Millésime represents a unique expression of Verzy’s Meunier, elevated by Adrien into a wine of depth, energy, and absolute elegance.
