The Champagne Les Epinettes 2020 by Adrien Renoir is a Blanc de Noirs of rare elegance, made exclusively from Pinot Noir sourced from the historic parcel Les Epinettes, a Lieu-dit planted in 1973 near the Grand Cru village of Verzy, in the Montagne de Reims. This highly regarded terroir, characterized by clay–limestone soils, lends the wine a radiant purity, aromatic finesse, and mineral depth that perfectly embody Adrien Renoir’s essential and transparent style.

The 2020 harvest, a balanced and generous vintage, was vinified in oak barrels with spontaneous fermentations, without fining or filtration, in full respect of the fruit’s identity and the terroir’s character. After tirage, the wine was aged for at least 36 months on the lees, developing complexity and harmony. The dosage below 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves the natural balance and enhances the clarity and aromatic intensity of the Pinot Noir from Verzy.

In tasting, Les Epinettes 2020 displays a beautiful golden hue animated by fine, brilliant bubbles. The nose reveals notes of white flowers and toasted almonds, interwoven with hints of pastry and fresh chalk, creating a bouquet of great elegance and complexity. The palate is deep and refined, driven by mineral freshness and a silky texture that lead to a long, harmonious, and persistent finish, marked by subtle salinity and impeccable precision.

Produced in a limited edition of 1,809 bottles, this Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs stands as one of the most authentic and pure expressions of Adrien Renoir’s style, combining energy, finesse, and depth in a balance of rare elegance.
