The Champagne Verzy Millésime by Rémi Georgeton delivers a precise expression of the Grand Cru of Verzy, in the Montagne de Reims, through an interpretation focused on the identity of Pinot Noir. This Blanc de Noirs cuvée highlights the more structured and incisive side of the terroir, while maintaining a clean and balanced expressive line.
This edition, Vintage 2020, follows a winemaking approach aimed at aromatic definition and fruit transparency. After tirage, the wine ages on its lees for at least 48 months, gaining complexity and depth without losing momentum. The dosage of 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports the overall balance with precision, preserving tension and coherence.
On the palate, Verzy Millésime 2020 shows an intense and layered profile, with notes of red fruits, ripe citrus, and subtle spicy and mineral nuances. The structure is broad yet dynamic, supported by well-balanced freshness and a fine mousse, leading to a saline and persistent finish that clearly reflects the character of Pinot Noir from Verzy.
