The Champagne Les Années - Solera by Adrien Renoir is a Blanc de Noirs of remarkable complexity, made exclusively from Pinot Noir sourced from 50-year-old vines located in the Grand Cru village of Verzy, in the Montagne de Reims. This rare cuvée was created to express the richness and depth of Pinot Noir through a Solera system started in 2013, designed to capture the memory and evolution of the terroir over time.
Vinification takes place through spontaneous fermentations in oak barrels using indigenous yeasts, followed by an extended aging on the lees for at least 24 months. The final dosage, below 3 g/l, defines its Extra Brut style, emphasizing the purity and transparency of the Pinot Noir.
On the palate, Les Années reveals a broad and refined bouquet, with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, hazelnut, and dried fruit, complemented by elegant nuances of brioche and yeast derived from the long lees aging. The taste is vibrant, mineral, and structured, with a creamy texture and delicate salinity that enhance balance and depth. The fine bubbles and precisely tuned acidity lead to a long, harmonious, and refined finish.
