Champagne Waris-Larmandier
Haute Volée
The Champagne Haute Volée by Waris-Larmandier is a Blanc de Noirs made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier, sourced from Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. The parcels are cultivated with care and respect for biodiversity, following the artisanal philosophy of the Waris brothers.
Vinification is carried out partly in wooden barrels, with spontaneous fermentations that preserve authenticity and energy. After tirage, the wine ages for several years on the lees, developing complexity and depth while maintaining a taut and vibrant style. The reduced dosage (Extra Brut) highlights the natural freshness and expressive power of the fruit.
On tasting, Haute Volée displays a deep golden-yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals aromas of crisp red fruits, ripe citrus, and delicate spices, enriched by notes of toasted hazelnut and bread crust. The palate is broad and structured, with a saline, mineral texture that supports a long, elegant, and refined finish, characteristic of great terroir-driven Blanc de Noirs.
