The Champagne Vendage 2018 by Laurent BĂ©rnard is a Blanc de Noirs crafted from a blend of Meunier (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%), sourced exclusively from the Premier Cru village of Mareuil-sur-AĂż. The grapes are harvested from the Lieux-dits Le Jeune Parc and Les Clefs, two identity-defining plots that precisely express the nuances of this exceptional terroir.
The cuvée was aged for over 4 years on the lees, developing both complexity and depth without losing its original freshness. The Extra Brut dosage (2.5 g/l) preserves the balance on the palate, enhancing the natural energy of the raw material and the Maison’s precise, consistent style.
On the palate, Vendage 2018 stands out for its intense aromatic richness, with notes of ripe fruit, fine spices, and pastry, all merging into a broad and creamy structure. The finish is taut, saline, and persistent—testament to a great interpretation of the vintage.
