Champagne Rousseaux-Batteux
Blanc de Blancs
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs by Rousseaux-Batteux is made from 100% Chardonnay, grown in the Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy, and Louvois, in the Montagne de Reims. The sustainable vineyard management – with no herbicides or synthetic chemicals – reflects a winemaking philosophy focused on expressive transparency and respect for the soil.
The balanced blend of the 2021 and 2022 harvests, both largely vinified in fût de chêne, gives rise to a deep and harmonious cuvée. Aging on the lees for 24 months, followed by an Extra Brut dosage of 3 g/l, enhances the wine’s tension and clarity on the palate.
On tasting, the Blanc de Blancs reveals a refined and vibrant profile, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus notes, and a hint of fresh almond. The finish is sleek, mineral, and highly precise.
