Champagne Rousseaux-Batteux
Assemblage Rosé
The Champagne Assemblage Rosé by Rousseaux-Batteux is made from 100% Pinot Noir, including 10% vin rouge, sourced from the Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy and Louvois in the Montagne de Reims. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, with no herbicides, insecticides or synthetic chemicals, in order to preserve the vineyard heritage and enhance the identity of the terroirs.
The cuvée blends the 2021 and 2022 harvests in equal parts, largely vinified in fût de chêne. It is then aged for 15 months on the lees before disgorgement. With a dosage below 4 g/l, it falls within the Extra Brut style.
On the palate, Assemblage Rosé shows a pale, luminous pink hue, offering notes of fresh red fruits, citrus touches and a subtle minerality. The taste is fresh, precise and saline, with a clean, persistent finish.
