The Champagne Blanc de Blancs by Eric Rodez is an elegant expression of the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. This cuvée is the result of blending different vintages, a method that ensures aromatic complexity and a distinctive stylistic continuity.

The vinification process takes place predominantly in oak barrels (85%), with a small portion in stainless steel tanks (15%), creating a balance that gives the wine both structure and freshness. The malolactic fermentation is carried out only for 10%, while the remaining 90% is left without, preserving tension and vibrancy. The dosage of 1.5 g/l maintains this Champagne in an Extra Brut style, enhancing the purity and authenticity of Chardonnay.

During tasting, this Blanc de Blancs appears light golden yellow, luminous, and brilliant. On the nose, it opens with a wide range of fruity aromas, enriched by delicate smoky and toasted notes, resulting from fermentation in wood. On the palate, it is refined and layered, with elegant floral notes typical of Chardonnay, accompanied by a broad and enveloping sensation, fully expressing the identity of the Ambonnay terroir. This Blanc de Blancsrepresents a perfect balance between structure, freshness, and elegance, offering a sophisticated and engaging sensory experience. Starting from 2024, the label includes the edition number, which indicates the year of tirage. The Édition 38 corresponds to the 2022 tirage.
