Champagne Pertois-Moriset
Chouilly 2018
The Champagne Chouilly 2018 by Pertois-Moriset is an elegant Blanc de Blancs Millésimé made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, sourced from three prestigious lieu-dit: Le Mont Aïgu, Le Fond derrière Mont Aïgu, and Le Fond du Bateau. These vineyards are located in the renowned village of Chouilly, classified as a Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs, one of the most iconic terroirs in Champagne.
Vinification is carried out partly in stainless steel tanks (78%) and partly in wooden barrels, to enhance the wine’s purity and complexity. This is followed by approximately 48 months of aging on the lees, allowing the development of remarkable aromatic depth. It is dosed at just 1.5 g/l, qualifying as Extra Brut.
Production is extremely limited, with only 3,464 bottles and 171 magnums available.
