The Champagne Mesnillésime 2015 by Guy Charlemagne is a Blanc de Blancs of remarkable intensity and elegance, made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from old vines over 55 years old, located in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a Grand Cru emblematic of the Côte des Blancs and its renowned chalky finesse.

The product of an excellent vintage, this Millésime is crafted through a vinification process combining stainless steel and 225-liter oak barrels (about 30%), with no malolactic fermentation to preserve the natural tension and aromatic purity of the Chardonnay. After tirage, the wine ages for at least 9 years on its lees before dégorgement, with an Extra Brut dosage (4 g/l) that enhances its precision, verticality, and expressive transparency.
In the glass, Mesnillésime 2015 shows a bright straw-yellow color with golden reflections and a fine, continuous mousse. On the nose, it is intense and refined, revealing notes of candied fruit, honey, ripe citrus, and passion fruit, enriched by hints of toasted hazelnut and a distinct chalky minerality. On the palate, it delivers great freshness and salinity, supported by a full, harmonious structure. The vibrant acidity balances the creamy texture, leading to a long, elegant, and persistent finish, where citrus and saline notes return with precision.
