The Champagne Les Sillons by Legras & Haas was born from a precise vision and more than twenty years of research on a parcel considered extraordinary: the lieu-dit Les Terres de Montiagu, in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, within the prestigious Côte des Blancs. This Blanc de Blancs expresses in a direct way the character of the chalky soils and the luminous identity of the territory. The name “Les Sillons” refers to the furrows traced in the earth, symbolizing a deep bond with agricultural work and the vineyard landscape. Old vines bring natural concentration and expressive density, resulting in a profile of remarkable depth and authenticity.

This edition, Millésime 2017, reflects a vintage marked by balance and tension, with vinification and maturation in oak barrels aimed at preserving integrity and aromatic precision while enhancing expressive depth. After tirage, the wine undergoes a minimum of 60 months of ageing on the lees, a crucial step in broadening complexity and shaping a layered palate, while maintaining stylistic coherence and mineral clarity. With no final dosage, the Brut Nature style highlights the purity of the fruit and the transparency of the terroir, without corrective intervention.

On the palate, Les Sillons 2017 reveals pronounced freshness and salinity, supported by a rigorous and well-defined structure. The aromatic profile alternates citrus tension, notes of ripe white fruit, and subtle evolving nuances that enhance aromatic depth.
