he Champagne Grand Blanc Millésime 2016 by Leclerc Briant is a Blanc de Blancs of rare purity, the result of a meticulous selection of the finest Grands Crus vineyards of the Côte des Blancs. An edition that fully embodies the biodynamic philosophy of the Épernay-based Maison, a pioneer in the pursuit of authenticity and transparency in Champagne.
The 2016 vintage, marked by balance and freshness, is crafted through vinification and an initial maturation of at least 9 months in oak barrels, followed by more than 60 months on the lees after tirage. The profile is completed with a minimal dosage and no added sulfites, ensuring an intact, pure wine of strong territorial identity.
On the palate, the Grand Blanc 2016 shows a bright straw-yellow color with a delicate and continuous mousse. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe citrus, dried fruits, white flowers, and mineral nuances, enriched with spicy and woody notes from barrel aging. The taste is fine and rich, animated by saline tension and a long, elegant persistence, underlining both its mineral vocation and the unmistakable style of Leclerc Briant.
