This cuvée naturally reflects the character of the 2019 Millésime, shaped by a spontaneous balance between maturity and freshness, and stands as a coherent expression of the elegant and refined style of the Maison Jean Valentin.
This edition is vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks, a choice intended to preserve expressive purity and aromatic precision. A long period of lees ageing follows, playing a key role in building structure and gustatory complexity. The moderate final dosage, in Brut style, defines an essential and measured profile, consistent with the producer’s classic and rigorous approach.
In tasting, Le Vieux Millésime 2019 shows a bright golden colour and a fine, persistent perlage. The aromatic profile opens with notes of white flowers, ripe fruit, and candied citrus, accompanied by delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, harmony and energy emerge, with vibrant freshness well integrated into the structure and a long, lingering finish that highlights the wine’s overall elegance and the distinctive style of Jean Valentin.
