The Champagne Prestige Millésime 2012 by Jean Vesselle is a cuvée of great refinement, an authentic expression of the 2012 vintage and the Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy, renowned for the power and elegance of Pinot Noir. The blend combines 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, sourced from selected vineyards that impart structure, intensity, and aromatic finesse.
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the expressive purity of the grapes. After bottling, the wine undergoes more than 10 years of ageing on the lees, enriching the cuvée with depth, complexity, and remarkable creaminess. The final dosage, in Brut style, ensures balance and precision on the palate, enhancing the natural harmony of the wine.
On the palate, Prestige Millésime 2012 displays a bright golden-yellow color, enlivened by a very fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet reveals complex aromas of ripe yellow fruit, candied citrus peel, white flowers, and delicate toasted notes. The taste is broad and enveloping, supported by a vibrant mineral freshness, leading to a long, elegant, and persistent finish that confirms the character of a great Champagne with ageing potential.
