The Champagne Tradition by Diebolt-Vallois is the entry cuvée of the Domaine, the calling card that brings together diverse and complementary terroirs, from the Premier Cru soils of Cuis to the vines of Épernay and on to the slopes of the Côte des Bar. Conceived to convey the family style with immediacy and natural ease, this cuvée expresses the richness of a plural Champagne, where every origin lends its own voice to compose a portrait of balance, character and sincere artisanal calling.

This edition, based on the 2021 harvest and completed by 40% from the 2018 vintage, features a blend of 60% Pinot Noir grapes and 40% Chardonnay, with vinification and fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks that safeguards its aromatic definition. After the tirage comes an ageing on the lees of about three years, while the final dosage of 4 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, preserves its crystalline freshness and vibrant mineral tension.

On tasting, Tradition shows a bright, pale yellow crossed by lively greenish reflections and enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage, with a nose marked by pronounced mineral notes, delicate floral hints and fresh citrus aromas. On the palate lively flavours of pink grapefruit and lime emerge, sustained by a structure that finds a perfect balance between power, elegance and harmony, in a long, taut finish that fully reflects the style of the Domaine.
