The Champagne Sylve by Vincent Bliard represents an authentic expression of the Hautvillers terroir, a historic village in the Vallée de la Marne. The result of certified organic viticulture practiced since 1978, it perfectly embodies the artisanal and respectful philosophy that defines the Domaine. The name “Sylve” evokes the deep bond with nature and the woods surrounding the vineyards — a symbol of harmonious balance between biodiversity, tradition, and contemporary sensibility.

This edition is based on the 2015 harvest, with an addition of 5% vin de réserve, and results from a blend of Pinot Noir (30%), Meunier (40%), and Chardonnay (30%) from old vines planted on the clay–limestone slopes of Hautvillers. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, followed by about 10 months of aging on the lees before bottling. The wine then matures on its lees in bottle for over 72 months, before the final Extra Brut dosage (2 g/l), which enhances purity and aromatic tension.

On the palate, Sylve shows deep elegance and mineral precision: aromas of quince, toasted hazelnut, and acacia honey intertwine with hints of herbal tea, dried herbs, and wet chalk. The taste is tense and juicy, marked by excellent balance between energy and fruit concentration. Its creamy texture, supported by a fine effervescence, unfolds into a long, savory, and refined finish, an authentic emblem of the pure and natural style of Vincent Bliard.
