The Champagne Racines by Yves Ruffin expresses the highest calling of the Domaine, where organic viticulture translates into a wine conceived as a testimony of continuity and family memory. This cuvée celebrates the bond between generations through the use of the Réserve Perpétuelle, a heritage that preserves over time the identity of the Premier Cru terroirs of Avenay-Val-d'Or and Tauxières, restoring their chalky minerality with depth and authentic elegance.

This edition, the result of a base spanning the harvests from 2012 to 2017, comes from a blend showing a clear predominance of Chardonnay grapes from 2016 and 2017, joined by Pinot Noir aged in solera from 2012 to 2017. Vinification and maturation take place in oak and acacia barrels and foudres, a choice that lends complexity and depth to the wine. After tirage follows a long ageing on the lees for around 48 months, while the final dosage of 3 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, preserves an authentic and natural freshness.

On tasting, Racines reveals a generous bouquet of toasted bread and pastry notes, the result of the long rest in the cellar that enriches its olfactory complexity. On the palate emerges a tonic freshness and a marked acidity that bring liveliness and structure, accompanied by refined hints of citrus and white fruit, in a balance between power and elegance that culminates in a finish of rare persistence. Production in a limited run of 5144 bottles.
