The Champagne Rosé de Macération by Sacy Soeur & Frère is a refined Rosé de Saignée, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the prestigious parcels “Les Buissons” and “Les Bussets” located in the Grand Cru of Verzy, in the Montagne de Reims. This cuvée elegantly expresses the power and finesse of Verzy’s Pinot Noir, offering an authentic, profound, and natural interpretation of Rosé Champagne from terroir.

This edition, 2022 harvest, produced grapes of great aromatic intensity and perfect phenolic maturity. The must is obtained through a 45-hour maceration on the skins, a technique that allows for the extraction of color, structure, and aromatic complexity with balance and precision. The spontaneous fermentation, carried out without filtration, preserves the integrity of the fruit and the direct link with the terroir. After tirage, the wine ages for over 30 months on its lees, gaining depth, harmony, and finesse. The absence of final dosage (Brut Nature) highlights its purity and mineral tension.

On tasting, Rosé de Macération reveals a bright cherry-pink hue with fine, consistent bubbles. The nose offers aromas of citrus, wild strawberries, and pomegranate, enriched by nuances of sweet spices and dried flowers. The palate is juicy, tense, and saline, with a precise structure and a long, mineral finish, marked by a pleasant fruity energy.
