The Champagne Mes 4 Terroirs by Rémi Georgeton brings together four villages of the Montagne de Reims, where the Premier Cru sites of Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne converse with the Grand Cru of Verzy in a mosaic of different soils and exposures. It is the cuvée that best conveys the idea of a wine conceived on the plurality of its sites, where each village adds a recognisable nuance and the blend becomes the tool for delivering breadth without losing balance.

This edition, from the 2020 base harvest, brings together 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay grapes in a blend that enhances the structure of Pinot Noir without compressing its fresher side, with vinification and fermentation carried out in wood through indigenous yeasts and a spontaneous malolactic, with no filtration or fining. After tirage comes an ageing on the lees of at least 36 months, while the final dosage, below 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, keeps the profile taut and precise.

On tasting, Mes 4 Terroirs shows a pale yellow colour crossed by light rosy reflections and a fine, persistent perlage, while the nose alternates delicate toasted notes, ripe red fruit and a crisp sensation of asian pear lit by a mineral hint that lengthens its perspective. On the palate the balance between freshness and structure supports a rich yet never excessive material, where the gustatory tension accompanies the whole development through to an elegant, saline finish that prolongs the liveliness of the fruit.
