The Champagne Vieilles Vignes by Pauline Collin Bérêche originates in the Premier Cru village of Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims, and authentically expresses a terroir shaped by rolling slopes and surrounding woods, which contribute to a unique natural balance. The old vineyards, rooted in deep calcareous soils with outcropping chalk, give rise to a cuvée that combines identity and finesse, reflecting a careful, low-intervention approach to viticulture.

This edition, Vintage 2020, develops through spontaneous vinification and fermentation in oak barrels, followed by ageing on fine lees that builds complexity and depth while maintaining precision and balance, while after tirage the wine continues its evolution, gaining further structure and definition. The absence of dosage, in Extra Brut style, enhances a clean and transparent expression.

On the palate, Vieilles Vignes 2020 stands out for its elegant and dynamic profile, with notes of citrus, white-fleshed fruit, and delicate floral and mineral nuances. The structure is taut and harmonious, supported by vibrant freshness that leads to a long, precise, and persistent finish. Total production amounts to 8,495 bottles.
