Mes 4 Terroirs Magnum
The Champagne Mes 4 Terroirs by Rémi Georgeton is a refined and well-balanced cuvée, made from grapes sourced from four distinct terroirs: Ludes, Chigny-Les-Roses, Rilly-la-Montagne (Premier Cru), and Verzy (Grand Cru). The blend for the 2020 vintage consists of 38% Pinot Noir, 28% Pinot Meunier, and 34% Chardonnay, giving the wine a solid structure and great complexity.
The winemaking techniques in wood, combined with fermentations using indigenous yeasts and a spontaneous malolactic fermentation, showcase the full control of the matter and the producer’s technical skill. The wine undergoes no filtration or fining, preserving its natural characteristics. After disgorging, it remains on its lees for at least 24 months, with a final dosage of less than 3 g/l, making it an Extra Brut of great finesse.
In tasting, Mes 4 Terroirs presents a pale yellow color with rosé highlights and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it opens with delicate toasted notes intertwined with hints of soft red fruit, crunchy Asian pear, and a distinct mineral touch that enhances the wine’s complexity. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance between freshness, structure, and subtle richness, with an elegant and mineral finish that adds refinement to the lively fruit notes.
