The Champagne Minéral Blanc de Noirs by Erik Schreiber comes from the Côte des Bar, a land of the renowned Kimméridgien soil that lends the wines great finesse, elegance and a marked mineral depth. Born from the desire to enhance the purity of Pinot Noir in a single vintage, this cuvée gathers the soul of a terroir farmed according to the principles of biodynamics, able to convey with fidelity the authentic character of the place it comes from and to translate its most sincere voice.

This edition M.K. 157-20, from the 2019 harvest, is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, with a share of around 15% vinified in fût de chêne to broaden its complexity and aromatic depth. After tirage comes an ageing on the lees of at least 36 months that refines its texture, while the final dosage of less than 3 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, enhances its nuances, letting the mineral matrix of this terroir emerge with clarity.

On tasting, the Minéral M.K. 157-20 stands out for a perfect balance between power and refinement, with a rich structure and an intense texture. On the palate the texture reveals remarkable complexity, supported by a long, enveloping persistence that delivers a deep and complete experience, ideal for those seeking a pure, intense and elegant Pinot Noir capable of surprising with every sip. Production in a limited and numbered run of 860 bottles.

In the Côte des Bar, in Courteron, lies Domaine Erick Schreiber, a small estate of about six and a half hectares set within an area renowned for its organic vocation. It is led by Erick Schreiber, a winemaker-oenologist and pioneer of biodynamics since 1990, driven by the desire to preserve a sustainable ecosystem and to keep the vineyard in harmony with its natural environment. To him is owed the creation of biodynamic yeast strains now adopted by leading Maisons, the fruit of constant research and of a vision that places respect for nature at the heart of every choice.

The vineyards, certified organic and biodynamic according to the Demeter standard, are cultivated without any synthetic product, on a clay-limestone soil that lends structure and brightness to the wines. Pinot Noir largely dominates the plantings, accompanied by Chardonnay and a refined presence of Pinot Blanc, Meunier and Pinot Gris, for a total production of around twenty-five thousand bottles. The result is authentic Champagnes, fresh and mineral, of notable aromatic complexity, faithfully translating the terroir of origin and the deep bond between the land and those who tend it.
