Terriscope #22
The Champagne Terriscope by Dehours tells the story of the Vallée de la Marne through the dialogue between its two banks, bringing together selected parcels from the Rive Gauche and the Rive Droite in a cuvée with a direct, energetic and deeply terroir-driven character. The assemblage sees a prevalence of Meunier grapes, alongside Pinot Noir, expressing the dual identity of an area where fruit, structure and mineral tension intertwine naturally.
This edition #22, based on the 2022 harvest, comes from an assemblage composed of 60% Meunier grapes and 40% Pinot Noir, integrated with 21% réserve perpétuelle to bring balance, depth and aromatic continuity, while vinification and maturation in fût de chêne follow Jérôme Dehours’ artisanal approach, guiding the wine’s substance towards greater complexity without weighing down the profile. After tirage, the wine ages on the lees for around 24 months. The final dosage of 2.3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves tension, purity and expressive precision.
In tasting, Terriscope #22 stands out for its vibrant and textured profile, with notes of ripe fruit, small red berries, delicate spices and mineral hints. On the palate it shows energy, breadth and well-integrated freshness, supported by a savoury texture that carries a dynamic and coherent progression. The finish is long, dry and precise, faithful to an intense interpretation of the Vallée de la Marne.
